The Miami Dolphins suffered another defeat on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. Dolphins quarterback Malik Willis struggled against the aggressive blitzes and schemes deployed by Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores, despite an impactful rushing performance from Ollie Gordon. Although the Vikings did not score a touchdown, five field goals proved enough to secure the victory over Miami.
Defensively, Miami saw contributions from Zach Sieler, who recorded two sacks, and Chop Robinson, who generated regular pressure. However, Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray connected repeatedly with tight end TJ Hockenson in the fourth quarter to sustain drives, while Dolphins special teams suffered from costly penalties and explosive returns.
