Righty posted a 1.23 ERA in 3 starts vs. San Diego in '26

Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Dustin May will start Game 3 of the National League Division Series against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park. Brewers manager Pat Murphy assigned May to start Tuesday's game, giving Milwaukee an opportunity to clinch the best-of-five series following their 4-3 walk-off win in Game 2.
May posted a 5.65 ERA across 10 regular-season starts for Milwaukee after being acquired at the Trade Deadline from the St. Louis Cardinals alongside JoJo Romero. Despite his recent struggles and elevated walk rate, May brings postseason experience and a strong career track record against the Padres, including a 1.23 ERA against them over 22 innings earlier this season.
