Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller proposed a trade scenario predicting the Minnesota Twins will acquire right-handed pitcher Logan Gilbert from the Seattle Mariners. According to Miller's proposal, Minnesota would send prospects Emmanuel Rodriguez, Riley Quick, and Ben Ross to Seattle in exchange for the starting pitcher.
Gilbert is entering his final year of salary arbitration before reaching free agency after the 2027 season, with a projected salary of $16 million. Miller argues Seattle's pitching depth makes Gilbert expendable, while Minnesota faces an urgent need for starting pitching as multiple core rotation members approach free agency.
