The New York Giants sit comfortably atop the NFC East at 3-1, holding an early one-game lead over the rest of their division rivals. Thanks to a Week 1 win over the Dallas Cowboys, they’re even undefeated in division play. But…

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is expected to return from a dislocated elbow to face the New York Giants in Week 5, according to NFL insider Gary Myers. Daniels missed Washington's previous two contests after suffering the injury against the Dallas Cowboys. He practiced on a limited basis last week and is planned to take all first-team practice reps heading into Sunday's game.
Daniels holds an undefeated 3-0 career record against the Giants, averaging a 70.4% completion rate with three passing touchdowns and zero interceptions. With backup Marcus Mariota sidelined due to an MCL sprain, rookie Athan Kaliakmanis is projected to serve as Daniels' backup for the divisional matchup.
