The NFL has suspended line judge Jeff Seeman for two games without pay following an expletive-laden verbal altercation with Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride. The incident took place during the fourth quarter of the New York Giants' 27-24 victory over Arizona, after McBride argued for a pass interference call.

In addition to Seeman's discipline, the league suspended referee Adrian Hill for one game for unprofessional conduct toward Minnesota Vikings linebacker Eric Wilson during a game against the Miami Dolphins. The rare midseason officiating suspensions came following public calls for accountability from NFLPA Executive Director JC Tretter.
