The Winnipeg Jets scored three goals in the third period to secure a 3-2 comeback victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday night in Pittsburgh. Alex Iafallo recorded a goal and an assist in the final frame, while Adam Lowry and Cole Perfetti also scored for Winnipeg. Goaltender Clay Stevenson made 29 saves to earn a win in his Jets debut after being claimed off waivers.
Pittsburgh led 1-0 heading into the third period following Ben Kindel's overturned goal in the second. After Iafallo and Lowry gave Winnipeg a 2-1 advantage, Declan Carlile tied the game for Pittsburgh, only for Perfetti to net the game-winner nine seconds later. Sergei Murashov stopped 30 shots for the Penguins in the loss.
