There’s still a LOT of work to be done..

Super League clubs are finalizing their overseas quota allocations ahead of the 2027 season, with three clubs currently exceeding the permitted ten-player limit. Castleford Tigers, Hull FC, and York Knights each sit above the maximum threshold and must offload contracted players before the campaign begins. Hull FC sits at 11 quota players following signings such as Daly Cherry-Evans, making Aidan Sezer likely to depart.
Meanwhile, several clubs hold ample flexibility, led by Wigan Warriors who utilize only five of their ten available spots. Toulouse Olympique and Huddersfield Giants also possess multiple open quota positions, while reigning champions Wakefield Trinity retain two available spots after adding Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Mason Teague.
