Mikel Arteta will have been delighted with what he heard from Roberto Mancini after Arsenal's Riccardo Calafiori scored his first Italy goal on Monday

Italy head coach Roberto Mancini praised Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori as a leader in technical, physical, and intellectual terms following Italy's win against Turkey. Calafiori came on as a second-half substitute to score his first senior international goal with a header at his former home ground, Bologna's Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.
Gianluca Scamacca and Pio Esposito also scored for Italy, while Aral Simsir netted for Turkey in the match. Calafiori credited Leonardo Bonucci for allowing him to push forward for the set piece before returning to Arsenal ahead of their fixture against Leeds United.
