Cardiff City are on the lookout for new young stars, and they're set to raid Manchester City for teenage midfielder Charlie Holt.

Cardiff City are set to complete the permanent signing of 17-year-old midfielder Charlie Holt from Manchester City, according to Wales Online. The teenager is expected to join the Bluebirds' Under-21 squad after impressing during a several-week trial where he trained with both the youth setup and the senior team.
Manager Brian Barry-Murphy and coach Lee Riley utilized their previous ties with Manchester City to help facilitate the deal. Holt spent his entire youth career at Manchester City's academy, making 12 appearances for their Under-18s last season, and will regularly train with Cardiff's first team.
