Walker has underwhelmed in two seasons in Houston and the team should move on. Here's how they could do it.

Patrick Creighton of Climbing Tal's Hill argues that the Houston Astros should part ways with first baseman Christian Walker this offseason. Despite recording 29 home runs and 87 RBIs, Walker struggled with a sub-.230 batting average and a sub-.300 on-base percentage, leading Creighton to contend that his offensive production is untenable at a premium position.
Creighton outlines four potential replacements at first base, including transitioning Isaac Paredes or Carlos Correa to the position. Internal prospect Jason Schiavone, who posted a 30/30 season in the minors, or free agent Ty France are also highlighted as viable alternatives.
