Real Betis have issued a firm rejection regarding the sale of striker Troy Parrott following online speculation about Tottenham Hotspur re-signing him. The La Liga club's official social media account directly replied "no" to a Spurs fan account asking if he should return. Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo reported that Betis have no intention of selling the Republic of Ireland international, who has made a successful start under manager Manuel Pellegrini.
Parrott joined Betis in a permanent transfer for €16m plus €4m in bonuses and is under contract until 2031 with a reported €100m release clause. Any club hoping to secure his signature, including Tottenham or Roberto De Zerbi's side, would reportedly need to activate that full buyout clause.
