Tottenham Hotspur have learned that former academy striker Troy Parrott now carries a €100 million release clause in his Real Betis contract, according to a report from Estadio Deportivo. The 24-year-old Republic of Ireland international departed Spurs on a permanent deal in 2024, subsequently featuring for AZ Alkmaar prior to completing a permanent transfer to the La Liga club.
The update comes amid attacking struggles for Tottenham, whose team under manager Roberto De Zerbi has scored only two goals in its first five Premier League games. Despite supporter interest in a potential reunion, there is currently no indication that Spurs plan to trigger the striker's permanent release clause.
