Reality TV personality Joey Essex admitted he remembers nothing from his chaotic Misfits boxing debut against influencer Numeiro. Despite earning a four-round points decision victory, Essex revealed the physical toll was severe and his family does not want him to box again.
Coached by his uncle Tony Sims, the 36-year-old is set to return to the ring at London's Copper Box Arena on Saturday. He will headline the event in a crossover bout against comedian Dapper Laughs, whose real name is Daniel O'Reilly.
