The momentum from the Cincinnati Bengals' 2-0 start has stalled, and head coach Zac Taylor's hot seat is getting warmer.

Writer Matt Fitzgerald argues that pressure is mounting on Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor after consecutive defeats dropped the team to 2-2. The Bengals fell 22-17 to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 4, during which Taylor was criticized for failing to establish a running game and leaving quarterback Joe Burrow vulnerable to excessive hits.
Fitzgerald rates Taylor's current hot seat level at 4.5 out of 10, up from 3.5 the previous week. Although an upcoming game against the winless Miami Dolphins provides an opportunity to bounce back before the bye week, Fitzgerald warns it could serve as a trap game if Cincinnati's offense remains one-dimensional.
