Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr revealed that Steph Curry remains fully committed to staying with the franchise because of his family and deep connection to the team. Speaking to NBC Sports Bay Area, Kerr explained that Curry prioritized keeping his family settled in the Bay Area and never considered leaving the organization that drafted him in 2009.
Curry, who signed a two-year, $116 million extension with a player option for the 2028-29 season, was compared by Kerr to one-franchise legends Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan. Curry also confirmed his right knee "feels great" after playing 13 minutes in a preseason loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.
