‘Real buzz’ around Northern Ireland – Charles

Northern Ireland midfielder Shea Charles highlighted a "real buzz" within the squad following their unbeaten four-game Nations League window. Managed by Michael O'Neill, the team sits atop League B Group 2 and is the only nation in the competition not to concede a single goal during the extended international break.

The window featured away victories over Georgia and Ukraine alongside scoreless home draws with Hungary and Georgia. Manager Michael O'Neill also integrated young players into the squad, handing Liverpool prospect Kieran Morrison his competitive debut alongside appearances for Ruairi McConville, Tom Atcheson, and Ceadach O'Neill.
