Pejčinović opened the scoring in the 10th minute by deflecting a Noah Darvich effort before sealing the victory later in the match following a pass from Nicolo Tresoldi.
The match in Bielefeld set a new home attendance record for the Germany U21 national team with over 20,000 supporters present. The win ensured Antonio Di Salvo's side topped their group ahead of Greece, who must now enter the playoffs.
