The No. 1 overall pick is getting a little heat after no points in three games, but that could end Tuesday night against Nashville.

Toronto Maple Leafs rookie Gavin McKenna remains confident despite being held pointless through his first three NHL games. The 18-year-old forward addressed media scrutiny following Toronto's 1-2 start to the season, viewing the pressure as part of his transition to professional hockey ahead of Tuesday's matchup against the Nashville Predators.
McKenna currently skates on Toronto's second line alongside veterans John Tavares and William Nylander, noting that living with Tavares has helped him adjust to the league. Head coach Jim Hiller praised McKenna's progression in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Ottawa while advising young players to manage external noise from social media.
