After a rough start to their season, the Philadelphia Flyers are bringing in some help for their forward group. On Tuesday, the Flyers signed winger Michael Bunting to a one-year, $1.2 million contract.
The Philadelphia Flyers have signed veteran winger Michael Bunting to a one-year contract worth $1.2 million. The move comes as the team seeks an offensive spark following a winless start to their regular season ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Ottawa Senators.
Bunting, 31, split the previous season between the Nashville Predators and Dallas Stars, recording 33 total points across 74 regular-season games. A former 2014 fourth-round pick, the forward previously produced back-to-back 23-goal campaigns with the Toronto Maple Leafs before stints with the Carolina Hurricanes and Pittsburgh Penguins.
