Despite limited IPL bowling under the Impact Player rule, Naman Dhir showed on his T20I debut that he remains a genuine bowling option, taking 3/31 against West Indies in Lucknow.

Naman Dhir made an impressive T20I debut for India by claiming figures of 3/31 against the West Indies in Lucknow. Despite having bowled only 8.4 wicketless overs during his IPL career with Mumbai Indians due to the Impact Player rule, the 26-year-old effectively established his bowling credentials at the international level.
Dhir explained that he maintained his bowling rhythm through consistent practice despite limited IPL overs. He adjusted his pace on a gripping pitch after observing teammate Axar Patel's success, and noted that playing in high-pressure IPL games prepared him well for international cricket.
