Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets defeated the Utah Jazz, 117-106, tonight in their second preseason matchup, just two days after a 97-109 loss to them on Sunday night.
Utah Jazz center Jaxson Hayes shoved Nikola Jokic during the second quarter of a preseason game against the Denver Nuggets. Jokic retaliated with a hard foul while contesting for the ball, which led to a technical foul assessed against the Nuggets star after he protested an uncalled foul on Hayes.
Neither player featured in the second half following the heated altercation. The Denver Nuggets ultimately secured a 117-106 victory over the Utah Jazz, with Jokic recording six points and Hayes scoring seven.
