Eddie Hearn isn’t sugarcoating things for Andy Ruiz. If Ruiz can’t get past Dave Allen in a potential heavyweight scrap, Hearn says the former unified champion is completely finished. Hearn

Promoter Eddie Hearn stated that a potential heavyweight fight against Dave Allen is a must-win situation for former unified champion Andy Ruiz Jr. Hearn revealed to IFL TV that he wants to stage the matchup at Sheffield Arena, asserting that Ruiz would be completely finished as a top-tier fighter if he fails to defeat Allen.
While contracts have not yet been signed, Hearn expressed confidence that the matchup will sell out the venue. Boxing 24/7 Wire noted that Ruiz faces immense pressure following recent career struggles, including being outworked by Damian Knyba, whereas Allen enters the prospective contest with minimal downside as an underdog.
