Zach Cioffi of Just Baseball analyzed the San Francisco Giants' roster outlook, projecting arbitration salaries and tender decisions for several eligible players ahead of the mid-November tender deadline. Cioffi predicts the Giants will tender contracts to Ryan Walker at a projected $1.6 million, Casey Schmitt at $2.05 million, and Randy Rodriguez at $820,000, while securing a pre-tender deal with Sam Hentges at $2.2 million.
Conversely, Cioffi projects non-tenders for Camilo Doval, Andrew Knizner, Jason Foley, Rowan Wick, and Jose Butto, citing roster crunches and performance concerns. Although projecting a non-tender for Doval, Cioffi expects San Francisco to re-sign the reliever to a smaller contract below his projected $6.4 million arbitration value.
