Two-time IBF super-featherweight champion Joe Cordina has expressed his desire to fight Manny Pacquiao before the end of 2026. Speaking to iFL TV, Cordina stated he would aim to knock out the Filipino boxing icon if they face each other, referencing Juan Manuel Marquez's famous knockout victory over Pacquiao.
Pacquiao is expected to compete on the undercard of the Tyson Fury versus Anthony Joshua event on December 11 in Cardiff to fulfill a Netflix contract. Cordina, a Cardiff native, is also under consideration for a potential lightweight title fight against WBO champion Abdullah Mason on the same card.
