The Houston Texans have struggled to start the 2026 NFL season, despite CJ Stroud putting up consistently strong performances. Stroud has been about as reliable as a high-level quarterback can be in the NFL.
Russell Wilson has shared advice for CJ Stroud after the Houston Texans started their 2026 NFL season with an 0-4 record. Speaking on Set Hut, Wilson reflected on overcoming adversity during his time with the Seattle Seahawks and urged Stroud to stay the course, telling the young quarterback to elevate his teammates and push his performances even higher to help Houston get back into the win column.
Despite the team's struggles, Stroud has performed well individually, completing 93 of 151 passes for 1,141 yards and five touchdowns with zero interceptions. He became the first quarterback in NFL history to throw no interceptions over his first four games while still losing each contest, as his teammates have struggled to convert opportunities.
