Max Strus doesn’t need the ball to keep a defense occupied. That’s a big part of what the Clippers will be missing while he recovers from a foot injury.
Los Angeles Clippers head coach Ty Lue addressed the impact of losing Max Strus after the guard suffered a right foot injury. Lue noted that the team will miss Strus' movement, spacing, and offensive threat off screens tremendously during his absence.
Strus suffered a partial tear of the plantar fascia in his right foot on Sunday during a preseason opener against the Golden State Warriors in Hawaii. The Clippers announced that he will be reevaluated in four weeks.
