The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Seattle Kraken 6-2 on Tuesday night at Climate Pledge Arena, though Victor Olofsson exited during the third period following a boarding hit. Olofsson scored two goals before leaving the contest after Ben Meyers delivered the hit, resulting in a five-minute major penalty and a game misconduct for Meyers. Head coach Ryan Craig stated after the game that Olofsson was undergoing medical evaluation.
Jack Eichel and Tomas Hertl each recorded four points in the victory, while Mark Stone scored a short-handed goal to reach 400 career points as a Golden Knight. Goaltender Carter Hart stopped 25 of 27 shots to help Vegas improve to a 3-1-0 record on the season.
