Carter Hart and Adin Hill were the unsung heroes for the Vegas Golden Knights this week. Here's what solid Golden Knights goaltending means for the team moving forward.
The Vegas Golden Knights secured victories against the Vancouver Canucks and Seattle Kraken on their Pacific Northwest road trip, outscoring opponents 9-4 combined. Vegas Hockey Knight writer Jacob Walters argues that strong goaltending from Adin Hill and Carter Hart carried the team during the swing. Hill stopped 18 of 20 shots, while Hart turned aside 25 of 27 shots.
Walters notes this resurgence follows a difficult 2025-26 season where Vegas goaltenders failed to post a .900 save percentage. He emphasizes that while the netminders may not achieve Vezina Trophy form, solid defensive structure should keep Vegas competitive in their pursuit of another Stanley Cup.
