Washington Nationals right-handed reliever Jack Sinclair made a strong impression in September after making his Major League debut on Sept. 4. The 27-year-old posted a 1-0 record with a 2.45 ERA and one save over 11 appearances. Manager Blake Butera praised Sinclair for his poise and reliability in high-leverage late-inning situations.
Sinclair held right-handed batters to a .048 batting average during his September stint, relying primarily on a sweeper and a fastball averaging 96.9 mph. Heading into the offseason, Sinclair plans to build strength and increase his velocity as the Nationals look ahead to 2027.
