After starting the season 0-1-1 following two games at the Lenovo Center, the Carolina Hurricanes became road warriors, winning the next two against the Philadelphia Flyers and the Montreal Canadiens.
Taylor Hall and Sebastian Aho led the Carolina Hurricanes to a 6-4 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Hall scored his first two goals of the season to earn first-star honors, while Aho tallied a power-play goal and two assists. Andrei Svechnikov sealed the road win with an empty-net goal after Montreal narrowed the deficit late.
The result improved head coach Rod Brind’Amour’s team to a 2-1-1 record after starting the season with two home losses. Aho now has four goals and seven points through four games, continuing a productive start to the season. The Hurricanes next face the Vancouver Canucks at home.
