MACAO — Kyrie Irving practiced with the Dallas Mavericks in Macao ahead of Friday’s preseason opener against the Houston Rockets at The Venetian Arena.
Kyrie Irving spoke about his mental and physical readiness in Macao ahead of Friday's preseason opener against the Houston Rockets. The contest at The Venetian Arena marks Irving's first game action in over 19 months after he suffered a torn ACL in his left knee on March 3, 2025. ANTA confirmed Irving has been cleared to play with no restrictions.
The veteran guard credited his Dallas Mavericks teammates, coaching staff, and organization for supporting him throughout his rehabilitation. Irving is playing under new Mavericks coach Dusty May for the first time and will also debut alongside reigning Rookie of the Year Cooper Flagg as Dallas prepares for its regular season opener on Oct. 21.
