Como president Mirwan Suwarso has addressed speculation regarding a potential exit clause in manager Cesc Fabregas's contract allowing him to join Barcelona. Speaking on Sports Uncensored, Suwarso stated that Fabregas does not need a clause to leave and that the club will not stand in his way or demand compensation if he chooses to move on.
Suwarso praised Fabregas's impact since joining the Italian club in 2022, comparing his role to Johan Cruyff's influence at Barcelona. Fabregas, who transitioned from player to coach, guided Como to Champions League qualification for the first time in club history and is scheduled to face Barcelona in the competition's League Phase in January.
