USA have named their squad for a four-match tri-series ODI assignment, recalling fast bowler Ali Khan and Jasdeep Singh as they build towards the World Cup Qualifiers in February.
USA Cricket has recalled veteran fast bowler Ali Khan to the ODI squad following a three-year absence. Former vice-captain Jasdeep Singh also returns after an injury layoff, replacing Rushil Ugarkar and Ritvik Appidi ahead of an upcoming four-match tri-series starting against the UAE on Monday.
The tournament marks the team's final scheduled 50-over assignment prior to February's World Cup Qualifiers. Two victories across their remaining four fixtures would confirm top spot for USA in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 standings, taking their overall tally to 23 wins from 36 games.
