While Dodgers ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto has been really impressive in the playoffs, he has not reached the level of Giants legend Madison Bumgarner just yet.

Writer Nick San Miguel argues that Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto still has work to do to match San Francisco Giants legend Madison Bumgarner's postseason legacy. Following a strong seven-inning, one-run start against the Atlanta Braves, Yamamoto reduced his postseason career ERA to 2.14 across 63 innings pitched.
While comparing Yamamoto's recent championship run to Bumgarner's 2014 title heroics, the writer maintains that Bumgarner holds the advantage due to pitching 102 and 1/3 career playoff innings with a 2.11 ERA and enduring a much heavier workload.
