Writer Michael Monreal questions the San Francisco Giants' future with outfielder Jung Hoo Lee after two inconsistent Major League Baseball seasons. Despite signing a six-year, $113 million contract, Lee struggled with severe offensive slumps and poor defensive metrics while the Giants lost nearly 100 games in 2026.
Monreal suggests president Buster Posey could explore trading Lee this winter to clear outfield spots for rising prospects and free up payroll.
