"No matter what role you have on the team, you can still make an impact in the community, and it's something that we really want to implement."

Boston Bruins players dressed up as characters from "Toy Story" on Wednesday for the team's annual Halloween hospital visits across Boston. Goaltender Jeremy Swayman and defenseman Mason Lohrei led the group at Boston Children's Hospital dressed as Woody and Buzz Lightyear, while rookies James Hagens and Frederic Brunet appeared together in a conjoined Slinky Dog costume.
Other teammates also took part in the community outreach, including Michael DiPietro and JJ Peterka, who dressed as "Toy Story" Aliens to visit additional local facilities. Head coach Marco Sturm and Swayman praised the organization's enduring community tradition, which has been held annually for over 15 years to support young patients and hospital staff.
