Max Verstappen stated that Red Bull Racing is less stressful following the departure of former team principal Christian Horner. Speaking to the Press Association, the four-time world champion praised the calmer environment at Milton Keynes under current team principal and CEO Laurent Mekies. Verstappen emphasized that a less contentious workplace helps reduce distractions and eliminates internal tension.
Horner was removed by Red Bull after a period of controversy, with Mekies taking charge following his stint at sister team Racing Bulls. Addressing rumors about Horner's potential return to the Formula 1 paddock, Verstappen noted that while Horner did a good job, any future return is not his concern as the team focuses on racing.
