Sharjah Warriorz complete 23-member squad ahead of ILT20 season 5

Sharjah Warriorz have finalized a 23-player squad for the fifth season of the DP World ILT20 following the Season 5 Player Auction in Dubai. Led by new head coach Adrian Birrell, the franchise aimed to establish a balanced roster featuring experienced international players alongside emerging UAE talent. Pre-auction retentions included James Vince, Adam Milne, Waqar Salamkheil, and Sikandar Raza to anchor the team's core.

At the auction, England fast bowler Richard Gleeson became the team's top signing at USD 180,000, while Afghanistan veteran Mohammad Nabi joined for USD 140,000. Spin bowler Adil Rashid returned to the squad, which also added four UAE Under-19 players to boost local depth.
