Joe Worrall insists he has got nothing to prove to anyone but himself as he aims to help Wrexham continue its remarkable rise towards the Premier League.
Wrexham defender Joe Worrall stated he is motivated to prove himself and help the club secure promotion to the Premier League. The 29-year-old joined Wrexham on transfer deadline day from Burnley but has been restricted to just one appearance so far, a 6-0 defeat against West Ham.
Worrall, who previously achieved promotions with Burnley and Nottingham Forest, acknowledged the difficult challenge of navigating the Championship after Wrexham missed out on the play-offs last season. He highlighted that despite past bumps, the squad is capable of learning from previous campaigns and pushing for the top flight.
