India won the West Indies ODI series 2-1, but some players may not make the cut for the New Zealand tour.
Following India's 2-1 ODI series victory over the West Indies, writer Pranav Ranjith highlights Ravindra Jadeja, Dhruv Jurel, and Auqib Nabi as players who could be dropped for the upcoming tour of New Zealand. Shubman Gill captained the squad during the home series, while several regular players missed out due to the Asian Games.
Ranjith notes that the expected returns of Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Ishan Kishan, and Jasprit Bumrah after the Asian Games will intensify competition. Jadeja struggled during his two appearances, Jurel did not play, and debutant Nabi went wicketless in Guwahati.
