Kasey Kahne retired from NASCAR competition in 2018. Eight years later, he is set to return full-time.

NASCAR veteran Kasey Kahne is ending an eight-year retirement to make a full-time return to racing. The 46-year-old will drive the No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet full-time in the 2027 NASCAR FedEx Freight Truck Series, beginning on February 19 at Daytona International Speedway.
Kahne stepped away from full-time Cup Series racing before the end of the 2018 season due to severe dehydration and health concerns. Although he has never competed full-time in the Truck Series, Kahne previously earned five wins and one second-place finish in six career series starts.
