When the Broncos changed offensive playcallers this offseason, it guaranteed a lot of attention would be paid to how the unit fared with offensive coordinator Davis Webb calling the shots instead of head coach Sean Payton.
Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton emphasized that the team's offensive focus must center on execution and details rather than who is calling the plays. The comments come following the Broncos' offseason shift to offensive coordinator Davis Webb handling play-calling duties.
Scrutiny has increased regarding the offensive performance under the new setup, as Webb took over primary calling responsibilities instead of Payton managing them directly.
