Former Newcastle United striker Demba Ba has revealed his dream of returning to St James' Park to watch a match as a spectator. Speaking to French media outlet So Foot, the 41-year-old explained that he has not been able to attend a game at the stadium since leaving the club in 2013, but hopes to do so in the future.
Ba currently serves as the Director of Football at French Ligue 1 side Le Havre. During his playing spell on Tyneside, the Senegalese forward scored 29 goals in 54 appearances before departing for Chelsea via a £7.5m release clause.
