Writing for Bullets Forever, Kevin Broom outlines ten predictions and observations for the Washington Wizards ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season. Broom projects that point guard Trae Young will lead the league in assists per game, while newly acquired center Anthony Davis will finish as a top-five candidate for Defensive Player of the Year.
Broom also argues that the Wizards could reach the play-in tournament and produce two All-Stars. Among his other projections, he expects rookie AJ Dybantsa to average at least 15 points and six rebounds, while suggesting Bilal Coulibaly and Deandre Ayton could be traded before the February deadline.
