Boxing Federation of India secretary general Pramod Kumar has called a Special General Meeting on October 24 to bring a no-confidence motion against president Ajay Singh. The motion reportedly has the backing of 28 of the 35 state member units, citing alleged unilateral decisions, unauthorized constitutional changes, financial irregularities, and administrative overreach.
Kumar also served a cease-and-desist notice to executive director Col Arun Malik over alleged unauthorized administrative actions. In response, Singh insisted the federation's priority must remain Olympic preparations, while opposing camps dispute which constitutional version legally governs the calling of an SGM.
