Three things Man City need from Enzo Maresca in first post-115 outcome press conference

Manchester Evening News writer Jack Flintham argues that Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca must demonstrate strong leadership during his first media briefing following the club's guilty verdict regarding Premier League charges. With Manchester City appealing the decision, Flintham outlines three key responses Maresca needs to deliver to protect the squad and ease supporters' growing concerns.

The writer says Maresca must directly address the situation rather than defer to the boardroom, harness a siege mentality similar to former manager Pep Guardiola, and offer public reassurance to apprehensive fans. Key players like Ruben Dias and Erling Haaland are also highlighted as pivotal figures in maintaining high competitive standards amid the fallout.
