With Jadarian Price sidelined and Seattle's backfield in flux, Sam Darnold's latest comments about Zach Charbonnet offer Seahawks fans hope.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold shared an encouraging update on running back Zach Charbonnet, stating he looks sharp and fresh in practice. Charbonnet is recovering from a torn ACL suffered in January and was designated to return to practice on October 1. However, the team has already ruled him out for the upcoming October 11 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
Seattle faces backfield uncertainty after rookie Jadarian Price was placed on injured reserve on October 3. The Seahawks recently relied on Emanuel Wilson and George Holani, while also adding Robert Henry Jr. and Dontae McMillan. Head coach Mike Macdonald noted Charbonnet will participate in team drills as the team uses its 21-day evaluation window.
