Kimi Antonelli is leading the F1 driver standings ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix

Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli could mathematically secure his first Formula 1 world championship as early as the United States Grand Prix on October 25. Although Antonelli holds a commanding lead in the 2026 driver standings heading into the Singapore Grand Prix, the title cannot be clinched this weekend regardless of the results.
Antonelli leads the championship with 320 points, sitting 84 points ahead of teammate George Russell and 106 points clear of Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton. Across 16 races this season, the 20-year-old Italian has earned eight victories and 13 podium finishes.
