Newcastle have made a positive start to life under their new head coach but one pundit has his doubts

Pundit Don Goodman argues that Newcastle United's positive start under new manager Matthias Jaissle is unsustainable following their 4-1 defeat to Leeds United. Despite sitting ninth in the Premier League with eight points from five games, Goodman highlighted that Newcastle had conceded excessive shots while drastically overperforming their expected goals.
Goodman questioned the squad's physicality after being outplayed at Elland Road, pointing to heavy reliance on goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek. However, he noted Newcastle's upcoming fixtures against sides like Coventry City, Aston Villa, and Everton present a vital opportunity to stabilize their campaign.
