Liverpool have a huge amount of deadwood that needs shifting this winter.

Ethan Lamb argues that Liverpool sporting director Julian Ward should offload midfielder Wataru Endo, comparing his trajectory to Naby Keita's disappointing spell. The 33-year-old Japan international has not featured in the Premier League under new manager Andoni Iraola seven games into the season, having struggled with injuries and limited starts during his tenure.
Lamb notes that Endo arrived from Stuttgart for £16m in 2023 but has accumulated just 87 appearances across all competitions. Comparing him to Keita, who missed 113 matches through injury before leaving on a free transfer, Lamb writes that Liverpool must be decisive and move Endo out.
